Fairies

All fairies are made using antique, vintage lace trimings and fabrics. They measure about 8/16 inches and very light, also ideal as christmas tree topper. They can be made to order and personalised. I also buy and sell antique and vintage fairy dolls so please keep looking from time to time as i will always update.

About Me

Ruth Peres: I started reading and writing at the age of 9 years, which was late. At school the only subjects i really felt happy and confident doing was anything related to art. I managed to leave secondary school with an art olevel and really wanted to go to art college to do fashion but due to ilness i lost interest. The only advantage of that time was that i inspired my younger sister so much that she went on to do a fashion degree and today a superb job. I floated around and did jobs which i did not find very interesting but it was a way of keeping busy and making money. After i had my children who are now 14 and 16, in my late 20's i decided to do a floristry course, i enjoyed it so much and did some advance certificates and went onto to teaching florestry at hammermith college for 5 years. I now work in care with an adult who has severe autism, i find it very challeging but also very rewarding. I still like to do my art and craft work whenever i have time as this gives me so much pleasure. I hope you enjoy looking at my work. Thank you and have a good week.
